In any sport, before going out on the field, on the floor, or before the start of a match, you must have done the necessary preparation long before and the necessary warm-up. These are just some of the elements that compose success. If we think about our life and our job both are very similar to sports, there are moments of relaxation, moments of stress, moments of preparation, various games, sometimes “local” and sometimes “international”.

But what should someone do in each of these phases? Maybe things are much simpler than we imagine. Professor Theodoros Angelopoulos perhaps gave us the way we could manage our choices, our work but also ourselves, in order to be led to what each of us define as “success” in any field.

If we wanted to give some tips on being healthy and maintain this passion in life to pursue the things we want to achieve, what would they be?

“What’s important to remember is that health is not only physical, but also mental. Balance is what makes us successful. As humans, it is very important that all our needs are properly met. The second thing is that we must never stop learning. Learning is a continuous process. There are so many things we need to learn at such a limited time in life, so we need to be in a process of continuous learning and of course with learning comes progress.

“Be eager to work, always aim to get results. The outcome is what makes us continue. And still, results won’t come if we are at the wrong place and time. Time and place are a constant search for everyone. Find what you love, give yourself quality time & do not stop learning and evolve. If we set goals and follow the path we create towards them, we will be in the right place, at the right time and then,  results will come regardless the field”.

Based on your experience, what do you think a person should possess to be successful?

“What has led us all to what we do is love and passion. Imagine doing something that you don’t like. I think it’s better to change direction as soon as you notice. But when something really speaks to you and belongs to you, the hours you spend cease to be a waste of time and become entertaining.”
