The word “anatomy” can be used to describe a variety of things that are to be analyzed in great detail. It is actually derived from the Greek words “ana,” meaning “up,” and “tome,” meaning “to cut.”

Human anatomy is the study of the structures of the human body, which is vital in terms of medical and health practice as well the in depth understanding of  the human body in motion.

Kinesiology examines in depth the human motion. It is a combination of Anatomy, Physiology & Biomechanics.
